Balloons~N~Varooms

Don’t miss one of Western Colorado’s most scenic events. On May 25th-27th be sure to be in Ridgway, Colorado to witness the colorful hot air balloons and beautiful classic cars amidst the majestic San Juan Mountains. Experience the magnificence of over 20 hot air balloons ascending over the valley of Ridgway, and an auto show featuring over 100 classic autos from all over the region. Featured downtown in Ridgway’s Hartwell Town Park, there will be many booths showcasing jewelry and art, and also many local businesses offering a variety of snacks and brews. This is during graduation weekend for many, so bring the family guests down for a watch or ride before the big celebration. Start the morning off with the lift off on Saturday, May 26th at 7:00am. Then enjoy a pancake breakfast to get you going for the day at the Ridgway Firehouse. There will be tethered balloon rides, a car show cruise, and live music each evening featuring Ralph Dinosaur on Friday night and a number of other local bands and artists on Saturday and Sunday night. Take a break from the frivolity on Friday night and watch the Balloon Glow a half an hour after sunset, then soak the night away in your own private hot tub here at the Chipeta. Make it a Memorial Day weekend to remember in Southwestern Colorado!
