Jack Jones

Jack Jones is a semi-retired author, journalist, songwriter and weekend balladeer who moved from New York’s Finger Lakes Wine Country to Ridgway, Colorado two years ago in search of new material, relative sobriety, mountain bike trails and friendly faces. His eclectic repertoire spans traditional and familiar folk, country, blues, and rock ballads. His musical set runs the gamut from Hank Williams, Sr., to Dylan, Neil Young, Pink Floyd and R.E.M. and is lightly sprinkled with originals based on experiences that include work inside Attica prison and with our closest primate relatives at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Africa.
